The Totum team has several of the best nutritionists and naturopathic doctors in downtown Toronto. We work together with our rehab and fitness providers to provide our clients and athletes the most effective and up-to-date nutrition information possible. We pride ourselves on providing reputable, fact-based information to counteract the constantly changing messages about nutrition found in our modern media.

Proper nutrition plays a large role in everyone’s overall health. The idea that “you are what you eat” is a great way to think about how important your daily nutrition can be. The difficult part with nutrition is figuring out how to fit healthy eating into a busy schedule in a practical way. The Totum team includes experts in these areas and many more.

Naturopathy at Totum:

Naturopathic medicine is a distinct primary healthcare system that combines modern scientific knowledge with traditional and natural forms of medicine. The naturopathic philosophy is to stimulate the healing power of the body and treat the underlying cause of illness, imbalance or disease.

Appointments with our naturopathic doctor range from 30 to 90 minutes; this time is needed to fully investigate health concerns through verbal discussion, physical examination and specific testing. Naturopathic treatment is tailored to each individual patient’s needs, goals and desires, and can include diet and lifestyle counseling, botanical medicine, clinical nutrition such as vitamins and supplements, acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine, and Intravenous Vitamin Therapy.

Like all of our services, we focus on where the science leads us and steer clear of the rest.

Naturopathic services are offered in Rosedale and our King and Spadina locations.
